Staff, volunteers and the animals cannot wait to welcome you back into the Zoo! However, we have made a few modifications for everyone’s safety that may make your next Zoo visit a little different. Take a look at what you can expect on your next Zoo visit.
Some amenities and exhibits will be temporarily closed, including the World of Reptiles, ZooFarm, Enrichment Playground and Water Plaza. Keeper Chats, ZooLive! Stage presentations and other animal encounters are cancelled.
Make your adventure last all year. Members receive free admission to the Zoo, discounts at our gift shop and restaurant, invitations to exclusive events and much more. Best of all, a portion of your membership helps support our more than 700 animal inhabitants through the conservation fund.

Virginia Zoo Membership plans include year-round access to the Zoo, discounts on purchases and other EXCLUSIVE MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS.
One adult named on card.
Two adults living in the same household or one adult plus a guest.
One adult and member’s children or grandchildren (18 years and younger).
Two adults living in the same household or one adult plus a guest and members’ children or grandchildren (18 years and younger).
Same benefits as Two Adult Household category plus 1 guest per visit.
Same benefits as Two Adult Household category plus 3 guests per visit.
A $10 discount (applicable for all membership levels) will be given given to Military, First Responders, or Seniors (62+). For all of our membership discounts, you can send your phone number and a copy of your ID as verification to email@example.com. When staff are in the office they will give you a call to process your membership payment over the phone.

Membership pricing is valid beginning November 1, 2018. Please note, the membership levels have changed names (from Family to Household), but benefits have not been reduced.
Primary and secondary adult cardholder names cannot be changed during the membership year.
Under the Internal Revenue Service regulations covering Charitable Contributions, members may deduct the amount of their membership fee less the fair market value of benefits received. The estimated fair market value of benefits received for all membership categories is $10. The Virginia Zoological Society is a 501c3 tax-exempt organization, federal tax ID number is 51-0253147. We recommend you consult your Tax Accountant for further clarification.
