Support the Zoo
There are many ways you can support the Virginia Zoo. From our education programs, conservation initiatives, commemoration structures, and more, your generosity makes a big difference. In whichever way you choose to give, you are furthering our mission to save the world’s wildlife and their ecosystems.
At the Virginia Zoo teaching kids and families how animals adapt and thrive in their environment is part of what we do every day. With the help of people like you, the Zoo reaches thousands of visitors each year with mission-based programs that teach valuable lessons on the realities of climate change, habitat nurturing, and what they can do to help creatures around the world and right here in Hampton Roads.
Act for Wildlife
The Virginia Zoo supports conservation activities locally and worldwide. From improving wetlands and shoreline oyster beds right here at the Zoo to funding the scientific study and protection of tigers, hornbills, and more, we are committed to ensuring that all wildlife survives for future generations. Now is your chance to Act for Wildlife and help tackle the challenges facing endangered species.
An annual gift of $1,000 or more qualifies you for membership in the Virginia Zoo’s Leadership Society. The Leadership Society is the Zoo’s way of thanking its most generous annual supporters and bringing donors even closer to the life of the Zoo.
