Zoo Tales
As the school year begins to peek its head around the corner, the Virginia Zoo has a fun, unique way of preparing your kids to get back into the swing of things.
Come join us for Zoo Tales!
Zoo Tales is a great way to get your kids wrapped up in the riveting world of books. Zoo Tales is held every Tuesday in the month of August at 11 am. It is a fun, interactive event focused on preschool to elementary aged children. Each week a different book will be read to educate and entertain your children on all the different animals that the Virginia Zoo has to offer. During some of our tales an animal ambassador will be present to further educate your children on the particular animal of the day.
Zoo Tales location varies throughout the Zoo but when you enter the zoo that day you will be instructed on its location. Zoo Tales is included with the price of admission and for members, it is free.
