Don’t let your love for Jurassic Park (1993) go extinct! Stomp or soar over to the Virginia Zoo for Zoovies: Jurassic Park (1993) on October 2 from 5-9pm to revisit Isla Nublar surrounded by the sights and sounds of Zoo animals after dark!

Prepare for an evening of adventure strolling the animal trails, devouring your favorite movie snacks, exploring themed activities, shopping dino-inspired merch, and snapping photos with classic movie replica vehicles and your prehistoric pal, Dexter the Dinosaur.

Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and your fellow fossil fans to claim your spot on the lawn before the movie begins at dusk (around 7pm).

No outside food or beverages are permitted. Chairs & blankets welcome, but please be mindful of blocking the view of surrounding guests. Seating will not be provided. No new admission purchases are permitted after 8:00pm.

🎥 Children 2 and under are free but require a reservation

*To guarantee entry to select seasonal events with limited capacity, members are encouraged to reserve tickets in advance. For this event, a $5 per-member reservation fee will be charged. Upon arrival, members will receive a $5 voucher redeemable at the Zoo Snack Bar, Zoo Gift Shop Kiosk, or on the Virginia Zoo Express train. Vouchers are not valid at food trucks or vendor market booths. 

Event Reminders

• Limited number of tickets available. Advance ticket sales end when sold out (get yours early!). If tickets remain on the day of the event, gate sales may be limited to credit card transactions only.
• Tickets are non-refundable, and all sales are final. If a ticket holder is unable to attend the event, the purchase will be considered a donation. If the Virginia Zoo cancels or reschedules an event, tickets will automatically transfer to the next event in the series when applicable. Guests unable to attend the new date may request a refund within a communicated timeframe. If no additional event is scheduled, tickets will be automatically refunded.
• As an outdoor venue, events are rain or shine unless otherwise indicated. Event updates will be shared via the Virginia Zoo website, email, and, social media channels whenever possible prior to the event.
• The Zoo is a smoke-free facility; no smoking is allowed inside the Zoo. This also includes e-cigarettes and vaping. Inability to follow this rule will result in dismissal from Zoo grounds without a refund.
