Breakfast with the Animals is your opportunity to rise, shine, and dine with your favorite Zoo residents. This exclusive access event gets you in before we open to the general public to enjoy a leisurely morning of snacking, strolling, learning, and seeing how morning meals are made on the wild side! A variety of grab-and-go breakfast items and beverages are included as part of your ticket price. Includes all-day Zoo admission.

Music by The Olde James River Jazz Band, tickets for The Virginia Zoo Express train available at an additional cost.

Gates open at 8 am and close at 9:30am. The Zoo will open to the public at 10am.

  • 8:45 & 9:45 am: Diet Kitchen Chats

🍇 Children under 2 are free but do require an “Under 2” ticket reservation

Limited number of tickets available. Advance ticket sales end when sold out (get yours early!). If tickets remain on the day of event, gate sales will be credit card only. Tickets are non-refundable. All sales are final. Should a ticket holder be unable to attend the event, the purchase will be considered a donation.
