Pride Night

We’ll be adding hearts and rainbows to our stripes and spots during our second annual Pride Night. Join us at this family-friendly event to celebrate all things Pride, meet Animal Ambassadors, tour select exhibits, peruse a mini Pride-themed market and shake your tail feathers to tunes spun by a local DJ!

Activities

• Animal ambassador greeters in the plaza from 5 – 5:45pm
• Full zoo access* until 7:30pm
• Goat Yard open until 7:45pm
• Drag Queen story time and shows (more info coming soon!)
• Visit with local Organizations & and get resources from:
  • Hampton Roads Pride, LGBT Life Center, Stonewall Sports (with games!), Outlife757, Southeastern Transgender Resource Center, Norfolk Public Library, HRBOR, Free Mom Hugs
  • Virginia Zoo Express Train and Gift Shop open (extra cost)

*Please note that in order to not disrupt our animals’ routines, exhibit trails will close at 7:30pm, though the event continues until 8pm. The Goat Yard in the ZooFarm will remain open until 7:45pm.

Tickets go on sale 5/3 for Zoo Members and 5/10 for Non-Members

Limited number of tickets available. Advance ticket sales end when sold out (get yours early!). If tickets remain on the day of event, gate sales will be credit card only. Tickets are non-refundable. All sales are final. Should a ticket holder be unable to attend the event, the purchase will be considered a donation.
