Beat those back-to-school blues by bringing your little one and their favorite stuffed animal to the Zoo for a check-up, sponsored by TowneBank and Optima Health!

Our educators, volunteers, and community partners will help to demystify visiting the doctor’s office while showing the importance of regular medical care for people and animals.

Schedule:

9:30 am – 2 pm at the Animal Wellness Campus

  • Animal pop-ups
  • Volunteers and Educators sharing animal medical stories and more about how we care for our animals here at the Zoo

9:30 am – 2 pm at the Event Pavilion

  • Check-in and waiting room with special giveaways (while supplies last)
  • Teddy Bear Stations including:
    • Height + weight
    • Heart + lungs
    • Eyes, ears + mouth
    • X-ray station by Ad Astra
    • Grooming

Animal Care Chat Schedule:

Diet Kitchen Chat: 10am

Turtle Check-up: 11:30am

Diet Kitchen Chat: 12:30 pm

Family-friendly and free with your regular Zoo admission. Event begins when gates open at 9:30 AM and ends at 2 PM.
