Omnivore. Diet consists of mainly fruit, but they will also consume flowers, birds, bats, and small mammals in their native habitat.
Conservation
This species faces increasing pressure from habitat loss.
Fun Facts
- These monkeys can leap between branches rapidly, which has earned them the nickname of “flying monkeys”. Despite their name, only the males develop white faces as they mature.
