Membership Swap: Nauticus and the Norfolk Botanical Garden

Virginia Zoo Members can explore local treasures Nauticus and the Norfolk Botanical Garden for free during the month of September.

Please note: Limited free member swap admission tickets available each day for Nauticus and Norfolk Botanical Garden — if tickets aren’t available online, we hope you can visit another day!

Virginia Zoo members visiting Nauticus:

• Virginia Zoo members will enjoy complimentary general admission tickets to Nauticus and the Battleship Wisconsin throughout September (up to 6 tickets per order, does not include guided battleship tours or special events/programming). Tickets must be reserved online in advance; you can reserve tickets here using the code provided in your member email.
• Virginia Zoo members will receive a 10% discount off purchases in the gift shop (present membership card at checkout).
• Virginia Zoo members that purchase a Nauticus membership during the month of September will receive 1 free month added to their membership (13 months for the price of 12). Virginia Zoo members should present their membership card and photo ID to receive this special offer.
• Introducing a new member swap perk – access discounted Toddler Time tickets. Adult tickets are free! Simply reserve your toddler’s ticket and use promo code NFKSWAPTT for free adult tickets. Toddler Time is offered from 9:30-10:30 am on September 24 and September 27.

Virginia Zoo members visiting the Norfolk Botanical Garden:

• Virginia Zoo members will enjoy complimentary general admission for up to six individuals (ages 3+), depending on membership level. Individual members will enjoy complimentary general admission for one person. Tickets must be reserved online in advance; you can reserve tickets here using the code provided in your member email.
• Tickets are only valid for the specific date and arrival time noted on the reservation.
• Tickets can be scanned directly from your smartphone or from a printed copy.
• Upon arrival, Virginia Zoo members must present reserved tickets and a valid Virginia Zoo membership card to Tollbooth staff.
• The promotion is not valid for special events and education programs.

• Virginia Zoo members will also receive a 10% discount on purchases in the Garden Gift Shop. The discount is not valid for special events and education programs.

• Virginia Zoo members that purchase a membership during the month of September will receive 1 extra month on their NBG membership! Virginia Zoo members should present their membership card at the Front Desk to receive this special offer.

Nauticus and Norfolk Botanical Garden members visiting the Virginia Zoo:

• Nauticus and Norfolk Botanical Garden members will enjoy complimentary general admission for the number of individuals covered under their membership. The discount is not valid for special events and education programs.
• Nauticus and Norfolk Botanical Garden members will receive a 10% discount on purchases in the gift shop and food service locations.
• Nauticus and Norfolk Botanical Garden members that purchase a Virginia Zoo membership during the month of September can take advantage of two extra months – free.

Membership Swap Discount Policy: Benefits from multiple partner memberships, including admission, discounts, and membership extensions, cannot be stacked or combined. Guests must present one active membership per visit and/or transaction to receive eligible discounts or admission.

Norfolk Treasures Passport Challenge

Visit all three locations for a chance to be entered to win one of these prizes.

To enter: You must visit each location and scan the QR code available near Admissions. You will be asked to complete a brief survey.

Rules:

1. You must submit a completed survey from all three locations, Nauticus, Norfolk Botanical Garden, and the Virginia Zoo, by 5pm on September 30.
2. Limit 1 entry per membership, regardless of holding multiple memberships across participating organizations.
   • If multiple individuals are listed under a single membership, only one entry is permitted for that membership.
   • Individuals with memberships at more than one participating organization may still submit only one entry.
3. Your membership must be active on the date of the drawing.
