RESCHEDULE UPDATE: Adult Night event has been rescheduled from July 13 to July 27 from 5pm-8pm due to the forecasted thunderstorms during set up and event hours. Our guests’ safety and experience is important to us, so all tickets will automatically be transferred to the new date, which is planned with the same lineup of activities and vendors. If you cannot attend on the rescheduled event date or have any questions, please email [email protected] by EOD Wednesday, July 17 for assistance. Please note that this email is monitored Monday – Friday between 8am-4pm. We thank you for your understanding and can’t wait to beat the heat with you at Adult Night on July 27th!

Unleash your inner wild child during our adults-only evening at the Zoo! Trails and exhibits will be open late and there will be drinks, a DJ, and a Food Truck Round Up alongside yard games to play in our Event Field. 

*Please note that in order to not disrupt our animals’ routines, exhibit trails will close at 7:30pm, though the event continues until 8pm. The Goat Yard in the ZooFarm will remain open until 7:45pm.

*Event is Ages 21+ and ALL IDs will be checked before entering.

Limited number of tickets available. Tickets are non-refundable. All sales are final. Should a ticket holder be unable to attend the event, the purchase will be considered a donation. As an outdoor venue, events are rain or shine unless otherwise indicated. If any changes are made, an announcement via an email to our members and/or ticket holders and on the Virginia Zoo social media channels will be issued prior the event.

The Zoo is a smoke-free facility; no smoking is allowed inside the Zoo. This also includes e-cigarettes and vaping.
