Episodic Volunteers
Making a difference in the community
If you are looking to get involved in your community and have flexible volunteer opportunities that work better with your busy schedule, look no further than our Episodic Volunteers Program! These volunteers help pitch in with special projects and events that the zoo participates in both on and off-site within the Hampton Roads Community. Episodic volunteers can be one time or repeat volunteers that volunteer their time with opportunities like major Zoo events, neighborhood cleanups, restoration projects, and community science initiatives out in our community.
This is a great opportunity for individuals, partners, friends or families looking for occasional service opportunities that have a direct benefit to our shared environment and community.
Please follow the link below to create an Episodic Volunteer Profile and fill out our Volunteer Interest form. Once you’ve created your profile you will find all our available opportunities by logging in to our Volunteer Software “MyImpact”. We will communicate new and continued opportunities through this profile and will only send human crafted emails to you.
