Zoo To Do Unveils New World of Reptiles

The Virginia Zoo’s “Zoo To Do” welcomes more than 300 new and awe-inspiring residents to the latest addition, the World of Reptiles. The annual charity gala is themed “Crocodile Rock” and will be held on June 2, 2018 from 7 to 10 pm.

This year attendees can expect to see some major changes, specifically in the setting. The creative cocktail event invites guests to slither through the halls of the World of Reptiles, meet the lively animals of the ZooFarm and mingle, party and dance the night away in the Fountain Plaza. Virginia Zoo Members are granted access to begin their adventure an hour early with a few hidden surprises!

Party animals will enjoy music from Strictly Bizzness, feast on endless edibles from the Zoo’s exclusive Catering Department, drink themed cocktails and enjoy pop-up amusements from furry friends to photo booths and live art.

The event also features a very zoo-centric silent auction where you can bid on the chance to name an animal, get up-close and personal behind the scenes or walk a pig.

Attire for this event is typical Zoo fashion, and we ask that your attire be “Creative Cocktail.” Get inspired by a scaly spirit, a tropical tortoise or a flamboyant frog. You have our permission to add LOTS of non-traditional elements to your getup. Whether you dress reptile-related or animal-inspired, just spark your wild side and slither on in.

Tickets start at $65 each, but will increase to $75 the week of the event. Tables can also be purchased for $1,250 and include eight seats and 16 drink tickets. With more than 600 in attendance in 2017, this year’s event is sure to outdo them all. For more information, visit vazootodo.com.
