For International Sloth Day this year there are no tricks, just treats. So we’re making something neat and giving the sloths something good to eat! We’re back in the Diet Kitchen with Chef Yohn to prepare a Halloween-inspired treat for sloths Honey and Mervin. Presenting our sloth-o-lanterns!

Instead of traditional pumpkins, Chef Yohn utilized the sloths’ dietary needs and added in a few of their favorite foods. The sloth-o-lanterns, made from butternut squashes with an adorable sloth face carved on each, were filled with yummy treats including leafy greens, apples, pears, zucchini, papaya, broccoli, eggplant, sweet potato, and every animal’s favorite – grapes!
