Explore the wide world of insects in this creepy crawly class. Together we’ll explore and learn about these backyard critters and the other friends that live in the dirt.
Individual Program Prices and Time:

Program Length: 45 minutes

Time: 10:00AM-10:45AM

Price per Program:

$10 for members
$22 for nonmembers
$5 for additional children aged 2-6.
Program price includes admission to the Zoo.

Cancellation Policy:
Zoo Tykes is held rain or shine. The Virginia Zoo reserves the right to cancel or change any program. Programs that have not met the minimum number of participants within the week of the program may be cancelled. In the event that we cancel your program, a full refund will be issued and individuals will be contacted directly. If you should wish to cancel your registration in this program, cancellation must be received at least seven (7) days prior to the program to receive a partial refund of 80%. No refunds will be given for programs cancelled less than 7 days before the scheduled date of the program.
