Join us for an exclusive Golden Egg Hunt at the Zoo on Saturdays and Sundays throughout April! As a valued guest, you and your family are invited to participate in this exciting event where golden eggs will be hidden throughout the park in areas accessible to guests. Each egg contains a special prize, so don’t miss out on the fun!

Various prizes include Virginia Zoo merch, tickets, Behind-the-Scenes Tours, and more

Rules and Guidelines

  • Ten (10) golden eggs will be hidden across the publicly accessible areas throughout the Zoo. Two (2) of these eggs will have BIG prizes. The big prizes of the day are as follows:
    • ONE two-pack of general admission tickets ($40 value) and
    • ONE two-pack of tickets to a Group Sloth Behind-the-Scenes Tour ($120 value).
  • Once your family finds a golden egg, go to the Membership Office to celebrate. Please be sure to only redeem one golden egg per family.
  • Eggs are available on a first come first serve basis only. Starting at 9:30am. Check signage in the Fountain Plaza for status of egg hunt.
