Join us at the Zoo to celebrate the cheetah! The Virginia Zoo has proudly supported Action for Cheetahs in Kenya (ACK) since 2015. Mary Wykstra will be on hand with handmade crafts from community artist groups. COOL Crafts sales to Zoo guests. Come chat with Mary at the Zoo’s Water Plaza and learn more about the mission of ACK. Spend the day at the Zoo to learn about how the Zoo supports the conservation of threatened and endangered species, like the cheetah!
