Zoo Members Visiting Nauticus in December, the following benefits await:

● Nauticus is currently undergoing renovations inside on the third floor to open brand

new, state-of-the-art exhibits in 2024. Free admission to Nauticus in December includes

access to Nauticus’ two new exhibits (Norfolk In Time & Aquaticus), daily films in the

Brock Theater (about 20 minutes each), and the Battleship Wisconsin. Free Admission

does not apply to special events/programs/Guided Battleship Tours.

● Aquaticus, one of our new exhibits on the third floor, is ideal for ages 10 and under with

highly interactive, hands-on stations with room for imaginary play as your youngest

explorer learns more about local waterways and aquatic life. Afterwards, don’t forget to

stop by our Nautical Neighborhood Aquarium to view local aquatic life found in the

Elizabeth River and the Chesapeake Bay.

● Norfolk In Time, is great for all ages and highly interactive, weaving stories of history,

culture, science, technology and industry to showcase Norfolk’s unique resiliency in the

face of continual challenge and change.

● Virginia Zoo members enjoy six (6) free general admission tickets each day. Must

reserve online via special link with promo code (sent in email) and show e-tickets with a

Virginia Zoo membership card and valid ID to Admissions Desk staff upon arrival.
