Tips and Information
Rideshare! Parking is free, but limited, so grab your friends to head to Growl Fest together. Also, Uber or Lyft are great options, especially if you plan on partaking in the delicious libations.
Arrive Early! There’s plenty to see and do at Growl Fest so be sure to arrive early to ensure a great event for yourself and friends!
Sorry, no pets. Even though state law allows dogs in tasting rooms, the Virginia Zoo does not allow pets on grounds. Many of our animals are rare and endangered species that have to be quarantined from native species and pets for their protection.
What’s on Tap? For the full list of beers and participating breweries, plus food trucks, click HERE.
Beer Alternatives? Yes, we will have wine, hard cider and soft drinks available for purchase.
Growler Pickup If your ticket includes a souvenir growler, they will be available for pickup beginning at 7 pm at the Zoo’s exit. Sorry, growler fills are not available during Growl Fest, but you can take it to any of the participating breweries through October 31st and receive 10% off fill-ups.
See you at the Zoo tomorrow!
