Wet Paint Show & Sale at the Virginia Zoo

Visit the Virginia Zoo for a creative take on the more than 700 animals that call the Zoo home. During this inaugural Plein Air Wet Paint Show and Sale, artists will paint throughout the Zoo, around the animal habitats beginning at 9:30 am. At 12:30, the artists will feature their creations in the Fountain Plaza for judging and an art sale – straight off the easels! 

Included in daily admission. Advance tickets are required as this is an anticipated busy day at the Zoo.

Are you an artist? Artists of all levels and abilities are invited to join the professionals during the outdoor Wet Paint Show and Sale. Participating artists must pre-register. There is a $15 fee to participate as an artist in this event, plus Zoo admission. Art sales will be collected by Coastal VA Plein Air. A 30% commission is applicable on art sales. SPECIAL: The first 15 artists to register will receive FREE ZOO ADMISSION.
