Senior Wednesdays

To celebrate seniors and the contributions they make in our communities, the Virginia Zoo is proud to offer free admission every Wednesday from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm in September to seniors age 62 and older.

Walkups available, advanced registration is available. Seniors will need to bring a valid ID as proof of age at time of entry. Free admission applies only to individuals age 62 and over. Other visitors will need to register or purchase in advance.
