Invertebrate Investigations
- This event has passed.
Come join The Virginia Zoo’s Animal Programs Conservation Youth Team as they lead you on an exhilarating adventure with the Zoo’s very own hair-raising critters!
Ever wondered what makes an insect or arachnid unique from other animals? Stop by and check out our brand new program, Invertebrate Investigations! Discover astonishing facts like how many legs a Giant African Millipede has, how tarantulas make a slushee out of their prey, and much more. Observe several of our more bite-sized Animal Ambassadors up close and ask questions about your favorite invertebrate species. Invertebrate Investigations! will only be offered THREE TIMES this August, so you don’t want to miss it!
This experience is free with regular Zoo admission. The CYTs and their spine-tingling cohorts look forward to seeing you all this August!
