Have you ever wondered what it takes to care for our 700+ animals? What happens when a tiger has a toothache, or an iguana needs an x-ray? Dive into our Animal Wellness Campus with an experienced guide and explore the inner workings of the laboratory, pharmacy, surgery room, treatment room, and quarantine suites.
The tour offers a unique opportunity to see firsthand what it’s like to be a Zoo Veterinarian and explore how we care for a variety of animals – from teeny tarantulas to giant giraffes.

Tour Experiences
Learn what it takes to be a Zoo Vet and how the Zoo cares for its more than 700 animals. Learn about animal medicine and tour the facility to see areas that may include:*
• The Lab and Pharmacy
• Surgery and Treatment Room
• Animal Quarantine Area
• The Diet Kitchen
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Minimum Age for participants is 6. All tours include park admission. Space is limited. Closed-toe shoes are required — no open-toed shoes, including sandals, will be permitted in animal areas.
