An adventure awaits at the Virginia Zoo.

From the plains of Africa to the jungles of Asia, the Virginia Zoo is a world of discovery. Open year round, the Zoo offers fun, education and excitement for everyone.

Meet and greet tigers, wallabies, red pandas, giraffes, snakes and more. Take a ride on the Zoo train or stroll through our gorgeous gardens. It’s an adventure for the whole family!

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. We welcome service animals, per the ADA guidelines.  No outside pets allowed.

Open daily from 10 am to 5 pm (except on major winter holidays).

Tickets

Tickets can be purchased ahead of time or before you enter the park. Guests may also purchase memberships to get more bang for your buck and visit the Zoo more often.
